All NES grants and contracts have administrative assistance from numerous professional support staff in the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and the College of Natural Resources. In addition, we have access to other research faculty and all campus facilities. These include:
Collaboration on research with other faculty in Fish and Wildlife Resources,
Collaboration on research with other faculty in the College of Natural Resources and other University Departments,
A large pool of both undergraduate and graduate students to serve as research assistants,
A major Land-Grant University Library,
Scientific laboratories for analysis and processing of specimens and other data, including 2,500 sq. ft. of wet labs for analysis of aquatic organisms,
A major Geographic Information Systems (GIS) laboratory with modern equipment and software,
An established pool of research equipment,
And numerous professional support staff.
